Cauliflower Au Gratin
Delightful cauliflower baked in a cheese sauce.
4 tbsps butter
1/2 <span class="measurestring" title="cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped)">cup fluid</span> heavy whipping cream
1 large egg
1 dash salt
1 <span class="measurestring" title="head, medium (5-6" dia)">head medium</span> cauliflower
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Clean and steam cauliflower until tender (about 6-10 minutes).
Strain and add milk and butter into mixing bowl. Mix like mashed potatoes.
Stir in beaten egg and parmesan cheese.
Put into loaf pan and bake on 350° F (180° C) for about 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Remove and serve.
