Linguine in White Clam Sauce
A delicious seafood pasta of clams.
6 oz baby clams
4 oz whole wheat linguine dry
1 cup Italian parsley
2 <span class="measurestring" title="fl oz (no ice)">fl oz</span> dry table wine
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tsps minced garlic
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 <span class="measurestring" title="medium (2-1/2" dia)">medium</span> onion
Prepare pasta according to package directions.
In a medium skillet, heat olive oil and saute onions and garlic for 3-5 minutes.
Stir in wine; bring to boil for about 3 minutes to reduce liquid.
Stir in clams, parsley and pepper; cook to heat through.
Serve over cooked linguine pasta.
