Sirloin Steak Stew with Mushrooms
Hearty sirloin and mushroom stew with red wine and plenty of veggies.
2 cups pearl onions
1 tbsp canola
1 cup plum tomatoes
1 tsp dried thyme
14 oz Low Sodium beef broth
2 tbsps white flour
2 cups green beans
4 cups diced portabella mushrooms
20 oz sirloin steak
3 fl oz red wine
Heat oil in dutch oven.
Add mushrooms. cook until the mushrooms release their moisture.
Sprinkle flour onto steak, toss to coat. Remove mushrooms from pot, set aside.
Add steak. Brown for 3 minutes, still pink in the middle.
Add wine, cook for 3 minutes.
Add all other ingredients.
Cook until reduced by 1/4 or about 30 minutes.
