Angel Shrimp Pasta with Creamy Garlic Sauce
A delicious but light dish that will fill you up without putting the pounds on.
1 <span class="measurestring" title="pat (1" sq, 1/3" high)">pat</span> butter
1 tbsp italian seasoning, low fat
3 oz angel hair pasta
1 cup garlic and herb cream cheese, low fat
1/2 lb shrimp
Place the clean and peeled shrimp in a skillet at medium heat.
Add the cream cheese and Italian seasonings and stir until well mixed.
In a 4 quart pot, put water to boil. While bringing the water to boil stir shrimp and add the butter.
Once water is boiling add the angel hair pasta and cook for 7 minutes or until al dente.
Drain pasta and serve on two dinner plates and divide the shrimp mixture on top of both pasta dishes.
Give pasta a light toss and enjoy.
