Egg & Sausage Quiche
A delicious quiche with sausage, cheese and a hint of deli mustard.
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 <span class="measurestring" title="cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped)">cup fluid</span> heavy cream
4 extra large eggs
1 dash pepper
3 tsps yellow deli mustard
1 dash salt
16 oz pork sausage
1 <span class="measurestring" title="cup (8 fl oz)">cup</span> water
Brown the sausage in a skillet, then drain.
Heat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
Whip eggs, cream, water, mustard, salt and pepper.
Pour egg mixture into pie pan.
Top with crumbled sausage and shredded cheese.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, a bit longer if you like it firmer.
