Turkey Slow Cooker Chili
Chili made with ground turkey in slow cooker.

Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
2 cups dark red kidney beans
28 oz diced tomatoes
3 tsps beef base
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsps chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp red or cayenne pepper
3 cloves garlic
1 <span class="measurestring" title="medium (2-1/2" dia)">medium</span> onion
Directions
Chop onion.
Saute onion and ground turkey in olive oil.
Mince garlic. Drain and rinse beans. Add all ingredients to 8 cup or larger slow cooker.
Cook 4-5 hours on high or 8-10 hours on low.
Note: serve with jalapenos, extra chopped onion, shredded cheese and sour cream.
